Design is subjective, no doubt about it. But I hope this so called “new design” is a late April fool. Seriously, this is great publicity for when they launch their real new design later this month (wishful thinking).
I thought the same thing when I first saw the design of the beta. From a usability standpoint, I like the new features. I just hope, as you do, that it’s more aesthetically pleasing when it’s launched.

This is a huge 180 for them. Their current design is nothing like this.
One of the biggest issues is the lack of a good navigation element such as a breadcrumb. There’s no way to see where you are.
I agree. It’s awful. And it looks even worse because the screenshot is taken from a Windows machine.
